The MEPF funded scoping study by PML (MEPF 08/P77), sets out a
framework for identifying and valuing ecosystem services and
applies this to a case study in the Eastern English Channel. We
propose to take this framework and expand it by adding
socio-economic issues to it and testing both these and ecosystem
services in a more detailed case study application and further
consultation with decision makers.
