Objectives
Identify the primary survey tools employed under the ALSF, and associated data sets.
Examine the survey strategies and standard operation procedures used.
Assess the nature and quality of the data produced from each technique.
Assess the appropriateness of typical datasets for use by various disciplines (e.g. archaeology, mapping, impact assessment etc).
Recommend how survey strategies and sampling techniques could be adapted to better meet the 'collect once, use many times' principle.
